	Ask friends a shopping question. Benefit from their research, experience and trusted advice.
	Share your purchase information with friends. You'll get to see their comments, they'll know who to ask for help.

Connecting with Facebook eliminates the need for you to create yet another login account. It also makes it easier to find your friends at ShopSocially.

Rest assured. We will never reach out to your friends or post anything to your Facebook account without your explicit permission.

By giving them money! - or good advice :) If you are in the former camp, please send us a Facebook invite. For those in the latter category, there are two options:

Simply search for whatever it is that you are looking for. We will show you related purchases by your friends and ShopSocially community and their comments about that product. You can then either buy the same product or contact your friends for additional information.

But what if you don't find a match or are looking for a gift idea? Simple - ask a Shopping Question. Your friends will see what you are looking to buy and help you make the right decision.

Why waste countless hours researching stuff and reading anonymous reviews? Remember the saying - "A friend's recommendation is worth a thousand reviews" Ok, so we made it up, but it really is true. Getting recommendation from a trusted friend who may have already done all the research is so much better. Moreover, you can easily communicate with your friends and ask additional questions.

Of course, this works best when you have lots of ShopSocially Friends.

Yes, absolutely. You have full control over what you share, how much you share (product, price, merchant etc) and who you share it with (only friends or everyone). Couple of words of caution though - it is so much fun to read comments back from your friends, that sharing can get pretty addictive. So be discreet about what you share. Here is a simple guide:

Sharing purchase info for a digital camera - GOOD.

Sharing purchase info for a bouquet that was not delivered to your wife - NOT GOOD.

Go ahead and share away. Remember what mom said - sharing is good. It is also fun, easy and rewarding here at ShopSocially.

Every good deed on ShopSocially earns you points. Points help you unlock badges. Here are some activities that may earn you points:

• Helping a friend (hint: share purchase information or make a recommendation)
• Not being shy (hint: ask friends for help by asking a shopping question)
• Being social (hint: invite friends to join ShopSocially)

How do I get the Founding Member badge?

You can still earn the highly coveted "Founding Member" badge by simply joining ShopSocially during the initial beta period. We will be allocating a limited number of these badges and may close it out soon. This badge is given out in recognition for being an early ShopSocially user and providing feedback to improve the service.

How do I become a Shopping God?

We keep tab on the most loyal shoppers for every merchant. If you've shopped at a merchant more than anyone else, you become the Shopping God for that merchant... until someone else comes along and steals your crown! Of course, you do have to share your purchase information on ShopSocially for us to know that you've bought something at that merchant site.

While it is very exciting to get the Shopping God crown, please do refrain from sharing fake purchases. Remember that your friends are relying on you to be genuine.

Hint: merchants love frequent shoppers who share their purchases with friends!

ShopSocially awards Shopping God status only for approved merchants. If you share a purchase from a merchant who is not in our database, you will receive your Shopping God status only after we verify the merchant.

I don't have any ShopSocially Friends. How can it be useful for me?

It takes time for any new service to be discovered by lots of users. If your friends have not discovered us yet, you can still benefit from the service in many ways:

• Select the Facebook option when asking a question or sharing a purchase. Your friends on Facebook will be able to make recommendations and write comments.
• Earn badges and rewards and enjoy Shopping God status before it gets too crowded in here.
• Invite friends to join the service. The more friends join the service, the more useful it will become for all of you.

How do I make ShopSocially Friends?

You don't! Your Facebook friends automatically become your ShopSocially Friends when they join in.

It is that simple! So the more Facebook friends you encourage to join, the more friends you will have on ShopSocially. They will be able to help you with your shopping questions, add comments/feedback on your purchases and tap into your shopping expertise.

Can't I simply post my question on Facebook? Why do I need ShopSocially?

Well, you can already play games on your laptop - why do you need a Wii or Xbox then? Because, a laptop is nearly not as good for gaming nor as much fun. Right? Facebook is a great social networking site designed to help you stay in touch with friends but not meant for shopping.

ShopSocially helps you leverage the friend circle you already have on Facebook for product recommendations, feedback, rewards etc. Here are some important differences between ShopSocially and Facebook:

• ShopSocially allows friends to share their purchase information with each other and keeps track of it. This allows you to easily find a friend with recent related purchase when you're looking to buy something.
• ShopSocially stores shopping questions and shared purchases for eternity, so that collective shopping knowledge builds up. Friends can benefit from each other's experiences. Facebook deletes posts after 14 days.
• You earn badges and other recognitions for participating at ShopSocially

How do I make my profile private?

In order to make your profile private so that only you and your friends can see it, please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Log in to ShopSocially.
2. Go to your Profile -> Settings page.
3. In profile privacy section check the box saying 'My profile is visible only to my friends who are logged in'.
4. Click on 'Save' button.

How do I delete my profile?

Profile once deleted cannot be undone. If you wish to delete your profiles please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Log in to ShopSocially.
2. Go to your Profile -> Settings page.
3. In profile privacy section click on 'Delete my Profile'.
