Customer Success Manager (CSM-01)

A Customer Success Manager (CSM) plays  a central role at ShopSocially. The CSM’s responsibility is to make a retailer extremely successful with the ShopSocially product. Retailers will see improved sales conversion,  growth in social presence as well as significant word-of-mouth virality. A CSM must be creative, attentive to detail and should have a natural ability to connect with customers. This role involves a combination of technology and customer management.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take over the customer relationship after an agreement is signed
  • Strategic campaign planning to help the customers meet their objectives
  • Devise intelligent ways to use ShopSocially features to help customers achieve their goals
  • Campaign setup, optimization and reporting
  • Touch customers on a regular basis and provide solutions to their needs
  • Debug customer problems and report bugs to the engineering team and get them fixed

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing or business from a reputed university
  • Minimum 4 years of proven experience in working with retailers
  • Minimum 2 years of proven account management experience
  • Deep understanding of web technologies, browser issues, html protocols a definite plus

Full Stack Developer (ENG-02)

ShopSocially is looking for brilliant, creative computer science graduates with 0-4 years of experience. Candidates should be eager to join a startup that is making a difference for thousands of retailers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Using Python (Pylons framework) to develop complete product backend for a shopping engine
  • Using the latest non-RDBMS databases such as MongoDB or CouchDB to store dynamic information
  • Development using HTML5, Javascript and JQuery Using RabbitMQ, MongoDB, CeleryD to build out social media apps

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • A computer science degree from the IITs, College of Engineering, Pune, PICT, Pune, VIT, Pune or an extremely reputed college is a must. People without computer science degrees need not apply.
  • Hands-on experience with Devops/AWS tools/technologies like Chef, Ansible, EC2, VPC, CloudFront etc.
  • Knowledge of software best practices, like Unit Testing and Continuous Integration (CI)
  • Experience working with, or an interest in Agile Methodologies, such as Extreme Programming (XP) and Scrum
  • Knowledge of design principles and clean coding techniques is a must
  • Proven programming expertise in any backend language a must.
  • Experience with source code version control (e.g. CVS) tools a must.
  • Experience with Python or PHP a plus.
  • Experience with development of iPhone and Android applications a definite plus.
  • Experience with development of social media applications a definite plus.

A Customer Success Manager (CSM) plays a key role at ShopSocially. The CSM’s responsibility is to support ShopSocially merchants in the US time-zone and make them successful with the ShopSocially product. ShopSocially offers excellent remuneration packages.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with customers to understand their key business priorities and ensure that we are successfully addressing them.
  • Look at customer performance data on a daily basis and communicate areas of opportunity.
  • Identify patterns among customer performance and contribute towards developing best practices, FAQs and knowledge base for using ShopSocially platform
  • Timely response to all merchant queries via email or phone
  • Debug merchant problems and report bugs to the engineering team and get them fixed
  • Ensure customer satisfaction. Identify any potential issues proactively before the customer reports them!

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing or business from a reputed university
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to work in the US time zone (9:30 pm IST – 6:30 am IST) a must
  • Experience in a prior customer success or customer support role a must
  • Experience in dealing directly with US customers a must Knowledge of Salesforce, CRMs and email automation tools a definite plus

Business Development Manager – Night Shift (BDE-01)

You will be responsible for emailing and calling leads to convince them to attend a ShopSocially demo. You will call 100+ business owners every day to get them interested in seeing a demo of our product. ShopSocially will provide the training, dialer, lists and tools necessary to be effective. You need to bring your knowledge, skills, attitude and work ethic to meet your targets.

This job represents the unique opportunity to directly interact with US based retailers, and to move into a Sales role. We also provide excellent growth opportunities and an attractive compensation package that is above industry par.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contact discovery and account mapping
  • Pick up a name from a cold calling lead list, call them and get them to agree to a ShopSocially demo. You will call 100+ business owners everyday
  • Ability to extract and understand the key customer priorities and explain to them how the ShopSocially platform can help them achieve their goals
  • Be doggedly persistent. Follow up with all the demo leads diligently until they agree to see a demo
  • Earn customer trust. It is not about somehow getting them to a demo. It is about building a relationship, understanding their business and making sure that we are addressing their needs
  • You will be measured based on how many demos you are able to sign up. You should have enough confidence in your ability to work in an incentive-driven target-based compensation structure

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business from a reputed university
  • 1-5 years of prior work experience in a relevant cold calling/telemarketing company
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to work in the US time zone (6:30 pm IST – 3:30 am IST) a must
  • Prior experience in selling IT software/services a must
  • Prior Experience in a US facing business development or telemarketing or inside sales role a must
  • Experience in dealing directly with US customers over the phone a must
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, CRMs, email automation tools, LinkedIn, Jigsaw and other open source research tools a definite plus
  • Prior experience with retailers, online advertising and social media a definite plus
